He noted that the Iranian Defense Ministry’s main goals in countering threats are to generate energy and enhance the country’s deterrence capabilities.

“As a result, plans are on the agenda for the promotion of useful relations with neighbors, interaction and multilateralism, attention to economy-oriented foreign policy, and the maintenance and strengthening of the resistance front”, noted the Minister of Defense.

The general called on Defense Ministry officials to focus their efforts on building various dimensions of defense power by improving technical and material capabilities, monitoring international threats and developments, and acquiring cutting-edge technologies.
