Union Minister Amit Shah organizes door-to-door campaign in support of BJP candidate in Goa’s Maem Assembly constituency

Ahead of the elections in Goa, deputy chairman of the star BJP party and Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday staged a door-to-door campaign in favor of a party candidate.
Amit Shah and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh also traveled to the poll-bound state to campaign for the elections and will hold a series of public rallies and door-to-door meetings in various northern and southern constituencies. from Goa.
The Premender Vishnu Shet is lined up from Maem constituency by the BJP against Santosh Kumar Sawant from the Goa Forward Party (GFP).
Shah’s one-day engagements began with door-to-door campaigning in Mayem Assembly constituency at 3:30 p.m., followed by door-to-door campaigning in Mayem Assembly constituency. Bicholim at 4:25 p.m.
He will then campaign for BJP candidate Rajesh Patnekar in his two respective constituencies.

Shah will further address a public meeting at the Zantye Hall open space in Bicholim at 4:50 p.m. He will conclude his election campaign with a public meeting at Bodke Ground, Sakhali Bazar at 6:50 p.m. where Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant will also be present. Sawant is the BJP candidate from Sanquelim Assembly constituency.
Rajnath Singh will campaign for the BJP in South Goa. His itinerary includes a visit to the Mahaalsa Temple, Mardol-Ponda and Darshan at 4:00 p.m. He will hold a public meeting at Ponda Bus Stand from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and another public meeting near the municipality in Vasco from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The BJP fielded Ravi Naik in the Ponda Assembly constituency and Krishna (Daji) Salkar in the Vasco Assembly constituency.
Goa will head to the Assembly polls on February 14. The counting of the votes will take place on March 10.
