The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) on Friday removed Pakistan from the gray list of the global terrorist financing and money laundering watchdog after four years. Speculation over Pakistan’s exit from the list has been rife in recent days. “Pakistan is no longer subject to the FATF enhanced surveillance process; to continue to work with the APG (Asia/Pacific Group on Money Laundering) to further improve its AML/CFT (Anti Money Laundering) system money and the financing of terrorism),” the FATF said. .
