MP Gyaneshwar Patil urges Minister of Railways to expedite opening of Seva Kendra passport
Khandwa (Madhya Pradesh): MP Khandwa Gyaneshwar Patil on Wednesday delivered a letter to the Minister of Railways, Communications and Electronics and Information Technology of the Government of India, Ashwini Vaishnav.
In the letter, it was requested that the opening of a passport office in Khandwa constituency be opened. Spokesperson Sunil Jain said that outbound travelers face many problems and have to visit Bhopal repeatedly to get a passport, which is a waste of their efforts.
Therefore, a passport office should be made functional at the district headquarters of Khandwa parliamentary constituency for the benefit of foreign students and citizens. In this regard, MP Patil delivered a letter to the Minister and insisted that the procedures of the passport office in Khandwa have been pending for two years now. As per Government of India policy, Seva Kendra Passport must be opened in every Lok sabha constituency.
Considering the problems faced by the citizens, instructions should be given to the concerned department for the approval of Seva Kendra Passport in Khandwa.
