Puerto Rican star Serrano is part of Problem Child’s most valuable new promotions company.
Taylor, 35, will put her undefeated record – as well as the undisputed lightweight title – on the line against her 33-year-old rival.
The event will take place at New York’s Madison Square Garden on April 30.
The two fighters were scheduled to meet in 2020 until the Covid-19 pandemic forced the fight to be cancelled.
Now, history-maker Taylor – a two-weight world champion – is finally ready to take on the woman who has held nine major world titles in seven different weight classes.
Last week, Paul tweeted the official poster for the fight with, “The greatest women’s fight in boxing history. We did it @Serranosisters @MostVpromotions.

Taylor said, “This is a fight I’ve wanted for a long, long time and I’m just excited that it’s finally happening because these are the kind of fights I’m in the sport for.
“People have been talking about this fight for years and there were times when I wondered if this was ever going to happen, so I’m so grateful to Eddie Hearn, everyone at Matchroom, DAZN and Madison Square Garden for got him over the line.”
And Taylor’s promoter Hearn added: “Everyone is talking about the greatest fight in women’s boxing, but also one of the greatest fights in boxing.
“We have worked hard for a long time on women’s boxing and I am so happy the fight is done and in the mecca of boxing, Madison Square Garden.
“They deserve everything they get. Two trailblazers. An undisputed champion, a seven-division champion – it’s going to be a massive event.
