The Federal Capital Territory Administration is seeking investments in the rail economy, tourism, waste management and construction sectors.

FCT Minister Malam Muhammad Musa Bello said this during the Nigerian Investment Forum at Dubai Expo 2020.

This was revealed by the President of the Persian Gulf Chamber of Commerce of Nigeria, Mr. Mahmoud Ahmadu, who led a Chamber delegation visiting the FCTA.

According to Ahmodu, after Malam Bello’s presentation at the Forum which largely focused on business opportunities in transport, tourism, waste management and construction, potential investors at the forum showed great interest in business opportunities. of the CTF.

Ahmadu said, “The minister was able to give us a very brilliant presentation, so much so that after he left, we generated a lot of interest.

“Before his presentation, we had few people interested in investing in Nigeria, but that changed after the presentation he made and surprisingly, the Emirati media recorded it, and there is a lot of interest from different groups of people interested in coming.”

Ahmadu said several investors were eager to come to Nigeria, adding that the Chamber was ready to facilitate such investment visits to the FCT.

In his response, the FCT Minister said that the administration is ready to work with the Chamber to improve investment opportunities in the FCT and revealed that the new secretariat for economic planning, revenue generation and PPP will be at the forefront of these investment programs and projects.

He explained that foreign investment in the waste management, light rail and tourism sectors is most welcome as the government alone cannot optimally finance the development of these important sectors.
