On November 22, 2022, a meeting of the Foreign Policy Support Commission of Historical Policy of the Republican Council for Historical Policy under the administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic from Belarus.

The meeting was attended by representatives of government bodies and departments that are members of the Commission, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Education, the National Academy of Sciences, the Academy of Public Administration under the aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus.

During the meeting, participants summarized the work of the Commission in 2022, which has been declared the Year of Historical Memory. Current issues of the implementation of measures to promote information about the state policy of the Republic of Belarus on the preservation of historical memory and the prevention of the revision of the results of history on the international scene were discussed.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, Yuri Ambrazevich, informed the members of the Commission about the contribution of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the work of the Republican Council on historical policy, as well as events held in international organizations and countries strangers. within the framework of the Year of Historical Memory, including those related to the theme of the genocide of the Belarusian people.
